Milk 2 liter
Sugar 1 & 1/2 cup
Green cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
Almond essence 1 tsp
Milk (for paste) 1/2 cup
Almond paste 1 cup
Saffron 1 pinh
Almonds chopped (for garnish)
Red syrup (for garnish)
1 . In a pan simmer water, add almonds and blanch them for 2 to 3 minutes. Then remove skin of blanched almonds.
2 . In a blender add peeled almonds, half cup milk and make a thick paste. Set aside.
3 . Take deep pan add milk, saffron in it and bring to a boil. Then add sugar and cook until its dissolves completely. Then add khoya, mix it well and cook for 8 to 10 minutes on medium low flame.
4 . Next add prepared almond paste, mix it well and cook for another 5 to 6 minutes on medium low flame. Lastly add cardamom powder, almond essence, chopped almonds and mix it well.
5 . Let it cool down then garnish with almond and serve your rich flavored almond milk.(Option two: add red syrup according to your taste, mix well, garnish with almonds and serve).
